Terms of Service
Last updated: 9 September 2026
Template, not legal advice. Everything in square brackets must be replaced with the operating company's own details, and the whole document should be reviewed by a lawyer in the jurisdiction the business operates in before it is relied on.
These terms are an agreement between you and [COMPANY NAME] ("we"), registered in [JURISDICTION]. By opening an account you accept them.
What the service does
ReviewNudge sends review requests to customers you add, at a time you configure, with a link to your Google review page, and records whether that link was clicked. We do not write, buy, filter or influence reviews.
Your responsibilities
- You may only add people you have actually done business with, and you must have the right to contact them.
- You are responsible for complying with the law where you and your customers are — including the CAN-SPAM Act, the TCPA, the GDPR and the UK GDPR as applicable. Marketing text messages need prior written consent.
- You must follow Google's review policies. Offering incentives for reviews, or asking only customers you expect to be happy, breaches them and is not permitted here.
- You are responsible for what you write in your message templates.
- You must keep your login credentials secure.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to send unsolicited bulk messages, to harass anyone, to impersonate another business, or to attempt to gain access to accounts or data that are not yours. We may suspend an account that does.
Plans, billing and cancellation
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal; access continues to the end of the period you have paid for. Sending limits apply per plan and are shown in your settings. Fees already paid are not refunded for the remainder of a billing period, except where the law requires otherwise or where we have failed to provide the service.
Availability
We aim to keep the service running but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we do not guarantee that any particular message will be delivered — email delivery depends on providers and recipient mail servers outside our control.
No guarantee of results
We do not promise any number of reviews, any rating, or any effect on your search ranking. Whether a customer leaves a review is entirely up to them.
Your data
You keep ownership of the customer data you upload. We process it to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can export or delete it at any time.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost reputation. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Ending the agreement
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and will tell you why unless we are prevented from doing so.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms and will post the new version here with a new date; continuing to use the service means accepting them. These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION].
